USDA’s tracking of foraged crops

We received the following question from a farmer that attended our Insurance Experience Sessions: ” As I was reviewing my 2023 USDA census there were questions regarding mushrooms. I’m curious is this new or are there additional foraged items that the census doesn’t cover?”
