Neighbors complaining about solar panels

Has anyone here had to deal with neighbors trying to claim that their land covenants (we purchased a new 5 acres last fall) do not allow solar panels? It’s not in the convenants, but they are trying to claim that the panels are commercial use, because we are using the power generated to offset our electric bill at the pack and wash shed. We don’t currently have a residence on this 5 acres, so one one hand, the panels are not residential, but on the other hand, they are sized the same as we would for a residence, and in the long term, when we build a residence on the new property, we will certainly hook the panels up to the house.
