In terms of checking social media when considering a potential employee, I realize its important to not expose oneself to info that might predispose discrimination, however I want to check to make sure the person doesn’t publicly post inappropriate content that might make other employees uncomfortable. If they have a private setting on their account, thats fine, but if its public and they are posting racist/homophobic/sexist content, that could easily lead to other employees feeling uncomfortable, and possibly associate my business with those sentiments.Thoughts?
